Born in Buffalo, New York and raised in Newnan, Georgia, Nicole Holtzapple attended the University of Alabama on a full scholarship and in 2003 received a degree in Psychology. While in college, she interned at a small law firm specializing in personal injury and family law. Her experience there inspired her to pursue a career in law. During law school, she worked at a large law firm in Atlanta; first as a practice group assistant, and later as a legal secretary.
